Supreme Lodge President Howard Leshikar presents details of the new lodge recognition and incentive program at the Local Lodge Workshop held March 13 at Lodge No. 177, Academy. Supreme Lodge officers adopted the plan at their March 11 meeting.
THE LOCAL LODGE RECOGNITION AND INCENTIVES AWARD PROGRAM GOLD STAR AWARD Lodge must meet any nine categories out of the 12 listed on page three, plus enroll 25 or more new members. Successful completion results in the lodge receiving a plaque, plus $1,000.00, or 10 percent of new insurance premium written by that lodge—whichever is greater. SILVER STAR AWARD Lodge must meet any seven categories of the 12 listed on page three, plus enroll 20 or more new members. Successful completion results in the lodge receiving a plaque, plus $850.00, or 10 percent of new insurance premium written by that lodge—whichever is greater. BRONZE STAR AWARD Lodge must meet any six categories out of the 12 listed on page three, plus enroll 15 .or more new members.
