Scholarship Drive to top $10,000 mark Contributions to 1992 drive exceed '91 total by nearly 25 percent Thanks to the generosity of SPJST members and lodges, we have exceeded our goal of raising $8,000 in the 1992 Scholarship Drive. As of December 3, contributions to the scholarship drive totaled $9,968.04. This represents a 25 percent increase over the $7,645.55 collected during the 1991 drive. The money collected will enable the Society to award twenty extra SPJST scholarships in 1993. This is in addition ,to the .50.scholarships that the SPJST

Supreme Lodge provides annually. In all, the Society will have the capacity to award at least seventy $500 scholarships in 1993. You may recall that in the December 23 issue of the Vestnik, State FAC Frank Klinkovsky announced that the Society would be presenting the donor whose gift enabled the fund to top the $8,000 mark a "special mystery gift." According to Brother Klinkovsky, the same applies to the donor whose gift put the

fund over the $9,000 mark and for the donor whose contribution will bring the fund to the $10,000 mark. These names will be announced in an upcoming issue. "Thanks to everyone who contributed and to those who worked so hard in the lodges and youth clubs throughout the state to make this year's drive a success," says Brother Klinkovsky, adding, "Thank you, again, and give yourself a pat on the back."

Thank you, again, and give yourself a pat on the back.
