Society Cites Efforts of November Top Producers Sales representatives "get the job done" in November November production shows that our sales representatives are doing a good job for our Society. The end of the year, with the Holidays upon us, is not an ideal time to be reviewing a members life insurance needs, but somehow our sales representatives manage to get the job done. With the new year right around the corner, we are very optimistic about our training program getting into full gear. Quick-Start 11 is a proven method to help increase production. Of course, the program is not magic and there must be a time and effort commitment from the sales representative for the program to be successful. DISTRICT I EARNED PREMIUM

We, at the Home Office, are looking forward to the challenges of 1993 and together, as a team, we look for many goals to be reached. To those who we recognize on this page and to all sales representatives who have given us the production necessary to be successful, our SPJST says, "Thank You." Fraternally,

Recipe for a Happy New Year (Author Unknown) Take twelve fine, full-grown months, and see that they are thoroughly clean from old memories of bitterness, resentment, grudge, hate, and jealousy; wash and cleanse them completely from every clinging spite; pick off the specks of pettiness and littleness; in short, see that these months are freed from all the dirt of the past. Have them as fresh and clean as when they first came from the great storehouse of Time. V Cut these twelve months into 30 or 31 equal parts. This batch will keep for just one year. Do not attempt to make up the whole batch at one time. So many people make the mistake to make up more of it at one mixing, but they spoil the entire lot in this way. Prepare only enough to last you one day at a time, by mixing it as follows: Into each day, put 12 parts of faith, 11 parts of patience, 10 parts of courage, 9 parts of work (some people leave out this ingredient and so spoil the flavor of the rest.), 8 parts of hope, 7 parts of fidelity, 6 parts of liberality, 5 parts of kindness, 4 of rest, 3 of devotion, 2 of meditation, and one well-selected resolution. Put in about a teaspoonful of good spirits, a dash of fun, a pinch of folly, a sprinkling of play and a cupful of good humor. Pour into the whole mixture enough love to suit your taste, and mix with energy, vim, and vigor. Cook thoroughly in a fervent heat. Garnish it with a few freshly-gathered smiles. It should be served with unselfishness and cheerfulness. If this recipe is followed as directed, the Happy New Year dish will remain appetizing and delicious any time you reach for it.
