Czechoslovakia's Old, Cherished Document Returns Home Congressman Martin Frost joined the President of Czechoslovakia Vaclav Havel on Wednesday, October 23 in Washington, D. C. ceremonies return­ ing the first draft of the Declaration of Independence of Czechoslovakia to that nation's officials. The document was hand-written in 1918 by Czechoslovakia's first presi-

dent, Thomas G. Masaryk, during his stay in the United States immediately following World War I. It was given to Havel by Speaker Tom Foley in ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol. Masaryk's former private secretary gave the document to the Library of Congress in Washington eleven years (Continued On Page 7)

The location of this school is between Bellaire Blvd. on the South and Alief-Clodine on the North, on the Southwest side of the in­ tersection of Cook Road and High Star Dr. in the community of Alief in Southwestern Houston.
