Local XXVI Convention Planning Committee Elects Officers The local Convention Planning Com­ mittee (CPC) had an organizational meeting on June 11, 1991 at Hillje, SPJST Lodge No. 40. The committee is an association of District VI mem­ bers. The group elected officers and discussed its involvement in planning of the XXVI · Convention. President Howard Leshikar, Secretary-Treasurer Leonard Mikeska and District VI Director Matt Vanek were present from the Supreme Lodge to help coor­ dinate the planning. ;

The CPC decided to produce a con­ vention brochure and sell .advertising space in the brochure. The CPC will plan and the district will sponsor a Monday night activity for the XXVI delegates. The CPC also tentatively decided to take charge of decorations at the Convention and provide other assistance to the Home Office staff. It will plan local tours for visitors. The next meeting of the CPC was set for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25 in Hillje, at the SPJST Lodge No. 40~
