SPJST Members Capture Outstanding Performance At ShowTime International
SEMINARHELD AT EL CAMPO-HILLJELODGE
STEPHANIEROYE AND SARA ZORRILLA received top honors at the ShowTime International Dance/Drill Team Competition held in San An· tonio February 22nd and 23rd. The San Antonio Spectacular has grown to be one of the largest dance/drill team competitions in the nation and was held at the Municipal Auditorium and the HemisFair Arena. Of the 27 duets in the competition, Stephanie and Sara were awarded "Duet Cham pions" for their outstanding performance to "I WannaBe Rich." In solo competition, the girls each received a first division on their dances. They are officers of the El Campo Derby Doll Drill Team and also competed in Team Highkick, winning a first division; Team Military, winning a first division; and Team Prop, winning a second dtvision. (Stephanie and Sara are members of SPJST Lodge No. 30, Taiton and Stephanie is the 1989-90 SPJST State Queen. Our Societysalutes these beautiful and talented ladies ··Editor)
