Sister Fannie Bartek Reaches Age 96 Sister Fannie Bartek celebrates her 96th birthday this year. She was born in the Airville community and had lived in the community most of her life. She was one of four children born to John and Mary Tallas. One brother and two sisters are now deceased. Fannie (Tallas) Bartek was married to Ernest Bartek (deceased). They farmed in the Airville community, near Temple. Fannie and Ernest Bartek had three children; the two living children are
Juanita Marek and Marilyn Olson. She also has six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She lives with her two daughters. Sister Bartek is still active. She walks without any assistance and al ways has a smile for everyone and a friendly greeting. The Supreme Lodge SPJST and the members of Lodge No. 24 extend con gratulations and best wishes to Sister Fannie Bartek on reaching age 96.
