Shelly Bubnik, age 6, granddaughter of Richard Hogan and member of Lodge No. 186, Caldwell. [Richard killed the deer with the widest horn spread, 20 inches wide, which won him first place in that category and also was in a tie win for first place in the most points category. This was a 10 - point buck. Congratulations, Richard!]

SPJST Presentation District H Director Willie E. Kohutek [right] presented a $500 check to the University of Texas Czech Club recently. The check represents the grant approved for Czech Language Studies. Accepting the check is Woody Smith [left] of Czech Language Instruction at the University of Texas.
