Another Check Presentation -- District III Director, Sid Pokladnik (right), is pictured presenting a check to Dr. Jim Horton, President of North Lake College. These funds are for the teaching of the Czech Language at North Lake College.

Activities At The Hallettsville Lodge No. 4 Meeting

Lodge 4 Hallettsville held their annual family social with a fried chicken dinner with all the trimmings. President Annie Vahalik presided over a short meeting and in behalf of the lodge, they gave an old adding machine which is only capable of addition to the SPJST Museum in Temple.

Patricia Zabransky, also donated a picture to the museum of the 1912 SPJST Convention, which, was held in Granger, Texas. incor Motal was in this picture and he was also the father of Antonie Motal Zabransky and great-grandfather of Patricia Zabransky. Patricia, also donated ribbons of the 1916 and 1928 SPJST

Convention. These gifts presented by Lodge 4 and Patricia Zabransky will be delivered to , the SPJST Museum by Director Matt Vanek. Following the meeting, entertainment and refreshments were served to the
