October 7 at the District V meeting Sister Tillie Helmcamp allotted time for President Jerry Ennis to present the scholarship checks to the recipients. tribute to Sister Olexa by giving a resume of the many things she has done for the lodge. She baked kolaches every Saturday, along with other Birthday Club Sisters. For years, she worked organizing the lodge's history which later, with the assistance of Brother Kostom and Sister Spencer, was coverted into a book and published. She has been and still is a member of the Choral Club and has been 2nd Vice President for seven years, writing numerous letters to the Vestnik. These are only a few of many works she has contributed to the lodge. She has performed in many plays, which the "Hlahol" Dramatic Club has produced. One of which, she played the part of an angel and to Frances Olexa this day she is still considered our angel.
