Dinner/Seminars Held at Taylor and Temple Donations To Child Abuse Benefit Project Two of our SPJST lodges have recently held fund-raising activities to benefit the Child Abuse Benefit Project sponsored by the Supreme Lodge SPJST. This is a worthwhile
endeavor and one of the ways in which we serve the needs of our communities and state as a whole. We commend Lodges 135 and 172 on their efforts in this behalf.

Lodge 135 Makes Contribution To Child Abuse Benefit Project On Sunday, September 9, 1984, Tom Valek, president of Lodge 135, Ennis, presided at the annual dinner which was held in conjunction with their Child Abuse Benefit Project.
Under the direction of Adell Valek and Evelyn Novotny of Ennis, Lodge 135 repeated its successful fund-raising project of last year. (Continued on page 10)
Proceeds of Benefit Dinner-Dance Sponsored By SPJST Lodge 172 Contributed To Child Abuse Benefit Project
Sales representatives in attendance Monday, Sept. 17 at Texas Inn in Taylor. Lodges represented were: Lodge 15, Lodge 18, Lodge 20, Lodge 29, Lodge 47, Lodge 48, Lodge 174, and Lodge 187.
SFM McBride held dinner/ representatives in District II, 45 seminars at Taylor and Temple were in attendance at these along with District HI Director seminars.
