Morris: Thank you for the $1250.00 check presented to the Southern District of the American Sokol Organization by the SPJST. Your generous donation is greatly appreciated, and will be put to good use as always. We intend to use the money to purchase gymnastic and video equipment, sponsor gymnastic courses and folk dancing clinics, give scholarships to students and promote Czech culture. Enclosed is a snapshot of Bro. Cyril Pokladnik presenting me with the SPJST check taken at Rudolph's Meat Market. You may wish to include it in the Vestnik or keep it for your historical files. Fifty-Year Honorees Receive Pins At Waco

The 50-year members of Lodge No. 9 were presented their pins following a chicken and dumpling supper held at the lodge hall. The longstanding members at Lodge 66 were honored with their pin presentations recently. L to R: Brother Steve Andrle, Sr. and Sister Steve Andrle, Sr., with lodge president Brother Johnnie J. Gaidusek, Sr., who presented the pins. Brother and Sister Andrle, Sr. also celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary March 3, 1984. They have three children, Steve Andrle, Jr. of Dublin, Charles Andrle of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Julie Andrle of Waco; they are all SPJST members of Lodge 66 at Linden Hall.
