Scholarship Donations:

Sales Representathes in attendance Tuesday, April 24tE at Lowake Steakhouse in Lowake. Lodges represented were Lodge 49, Lodge 160. El Campo Independent School District and Louise Independent School District scholarship funds became $1,000 richer when they received donations from El Campo-Hillje SPJST Lodge 40, to be used in five $200 scholarships, selection of recipients to be done by schools guidance office. Pictured above from left to right are: Ed Lowe, guidance counselor at El Campo High School; James Kulcak, president of SPJST Lodge 40; and George Lehnert, guidance counselor at Louise High School. Funds for the scholarships were made available through Monday Night Bingos.

AD n u al Activity At S.P.J.S.T. Rest Home

Sales Representatives in attendance Monday, April 23rd at Seymour Housing Authority in Seymour. Lodges represented were: Lodge 73, Lodge 76, Lodge 77, Lodge 95, Lodge 157 and Lodge 160. SFM Gene McBride bhPe l di dinner/seminars at ey Lowake along with District 4 Director Stanley Broz for the active sales representatives in District 4. Of the 22 producing sales representatives in District 4, 14 were in attendance at these seminars. We appreciate the efforts of these sales representatives and urge those that are not active to come join us aboard the SPJST

train. We are moving on to bigger and better things —"Don't be left behind". It is the lodge and members duty to support the sales representatives of your lodge and to help them secure new members in order to keep your lodge alive and growing. Please urge the sales representatives of your lodge to attend the insurance seminars so they can better serve your membership.

All Proposals To Bylaws Must Be Postmarked On Or Before May 17, 1984!

The S.P.J.S.T. Rest Home No. 1, had its Easter Festival April 17, 1984. As we celebrate the Festival, the residents of the Rest Home elect a King and a Queen from among themselves to reign over the Annual Event Our king is Walter Rinn, age 90, May 16, 1984 and our queen is Annie Holubec, age 84, April 26, 1984. The Seventh Street Day Care Center (about 40 young boys and girls) modeled their Easter outfits to the delight of everyone. Children of some of the employees modeled Easter frocks and residents also modeled. Mr. Howard Leshikar, chairman of the Rest Home Board, brought Eastergreetings from the Board to residents, employees and friends. Refreshments were served and a delightful event will be remembered by all.
