1983 Texas Fraternal Congress Set For Temple Lyndon Olson To Speak

iclon Oh Ti The 83rd Annual Gun-ention of the Texas Fraternal Congress is set for October 21st-23rd at the Ponderosa Motor Inn in Temple. The Texas Fraternal Congress is comprised of delegates from approximately 23 Fraternal Benefit Societies throughout the State of Texas. Some are domiciled (have their Home Offices) in Texas and others, while doing business in

Texas, have their Home Offices in other states. The Congress will hold all of its sessions in the Banquet Room of the Ponderosa Motor Inn which will include a number of various informative sessions with speakers and presentations. The Congress will get under way the with registration and president's reception Friday evening, October 21st, followed by a banquet that same evening and concluding at noon Sunday, October 23rd. Both the reception and the banquet will be held in the Banquet Room of the Ponderosa. Various reports will be given Saturday morning, including a report from the recently cornn'eted National Fratern,C, Congress in Denver by Louis Enfzeike, president of the Sons of Hermann from San Antonio. The Fraternal Affairs Section will meet at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at which State Insurance Board ,r.:;,, airman Lyndon Olson will speak. There vv be a Fraternal Insurance Counselors' luncheon, Legislative Committee report, and other information of interest to Fraternal Benefit Societies in Texas. After Mr. Olson's remarks, there will be short reports from representatives of most of the Societies on their activities in Fraternal Affairs.
