Amanda Suzanne Burleson Paul Hubenak
Ilubenak Received Award The enciuseu piLidie shows Katherine Wokaty of Lodge No. 32, Victoria, Texas, presenting her great grandfather's music box to Mr. Otto Hanus May 28, 1983. This box belonged to Josef H. Shiller who was also the father of the late, beloved Dr. John J. Shiller of Rowena. The box was given to Mrs. Wokaty's mother when Josef H. Shiller broke up his household after the death of his wife. The box is around 140 years old.

Paul Hubenak, 20, served as a staff photographer last fall and spring. A 1981 graduate of Arling ton Heights High School, he plans to transfer as a computer science major to UT A next fall. He was awarded second place in feature photos by the Texas Community Press Association and an honorable mention in news photos by the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association at a journalism convention held in Dallas this spring. Also an art enthusiast, he has received several awards for his works, including being accepted into the 1982 TCJC "Works on Paper" exhibit. Paul, in his fifth semester at the Northwest campus, says he is really looking forward to working as photo editor. (Paul is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hubenak and the grandson of Esta Belle Hubenak, all members of SPJST Lodge 92, Fort Worth — Editor.) ***
Miss Burleson Selected Festival Representative Miss Amanda Suzanne Burleson has been selected by SPJST Lodge 107, Floresville to be their representative in the annual Floresville Peanut Festival in Floresville, Texas. Amanda is the 1983 District VII Queen for SPJST and selected as the first runner-up for Queen at the State competition in Elgin in September. Amanda is a senior at Floresville High School and is involved in many activities. She is on the Varsity Volleyball team, a member of the Speech and Drama Club, OEA Club, and the Computer Club. She is a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and taught second grade during Bible School this past summer. Amanda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Burleson, Sr. who are both members of the adult lodge. Amanda's duchess for SPJST is Miss Jacqueline Marie Burleson, her sister, who attends Floresville Elementary School. Amanda would like to thank the SPJST for selecting her as their representative.
