Library, Archives, Museum There is something new arriving at the LIBRARY, ARCHIVES and MUSEUM to make it even more interesting and attractive and we are pleased to announce the arrival of an outstanding PUPPET DISPLAY that was donated by Brother Bob and Sister Ann Zvolanek of Dallas. This display consists of a beautiful hand-painted background painted by Brother Bob Zvolanek himself.
These puppets were hand-carved out of wood in 1875 and brought to America in 1923 and, for many years after their arrival in America, Brother Bob Zvolanek and Mrs. Rendl put on PUPPET SHOWS in many SPJST lodges in Texas. The beautiful PUPPETS are named in this order: PRINCE, COUNT, OLD LADY, MAGICIAN, PROFESSOR, COMIC, POLICEMAN, HAPPY (Continued on Page 12)
