Lodge No. 84 Dallas "Czech Fest" We are all working toward the annual "Czech Fest" to be held Sunday, September 12th at Lodge 84 in Dallas. It's for the same cause as last year and the year before that — the parking lot debt. Last year's support was very good and we ask you to "let's repeat it." We will appreciate every donation and all the help. Here is what some of the activities will be: Plant Store - This booth will be managed by Sister Rose Scott. We hope all of you have some nice plants to contribute, and do buy some new plants from her, too. The Ceramic and Doll booth will have beautiful items made by Sister Betty Olsen and Sister Wanda Petr. Here you can start your Christmas shopping early. The Pastry and Cake Walk booth will be taken care of by the Ball Club wives. Please make your favorite pastries such as kolache, cakes, cookies, pies, rosettes and/or bread for your donations. The Gift Shop, worked by Sister Evelyn Salac, will appreciate any type of item. Everyone is always interested in hand-work and homecanned goods. This has been a good year for gardens - so I hope you want to share a jar or two.

Anton Simek, who was the director of the Band, was a very good musician, and an instructer in music; also a photographer.
