******************** RVOS Concludes Convention The Farmers Mutual Protective Association of Texas (RVOS) recently completed its quadrennial convention at the KC Hall in Temple, Texas. The convention opened on Monday morning, June 21st, and the gavel sounded at the end of the final session on Wednesday, June 23rd, at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday's session primarily concerned the election of officers and directors. There were 171 delegates present at this convention and a number of changes were made in the constitution and by-laws of the RVOS. One of the highlights of the convention was the Tuesday night banquet. Representatives of other organizations, fraternal and mutual, brought greetings to the convention, including Supreme Lodge President Nick A. ATTENTION:

ALL LOCAL SPJST LODGES AND DISTRICTS. March 11, 12, and 13, 1983 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) a trip has been scheduled for the top sales representatives of 1982, as an award for their efforts in behalf of the society. We suggest that local lodges and/ or districts do not schedule an event that would conflict with these dates (Ex.: District Meeting, etc.) It is felt that by making everyone aware of these dates this far in advance, all concerned can plan accordingly.
