DYC of' District V, Sister Marlene Caraway sent it in and we request you read her letter in the DYC Section. Your editor has known Marian all of her life and can say only commendable things about her, her family, relatives and ancestors. The Kadlecek family from the Temple area, and the Jalufkas (her mother's ancestors) from Engle and Praha area. All are long-time BPJST workers. In dOing so, you build a monument far greater than any dottim • the whole earth in memory of all the statesmen that ever breathed. Your future is vast and glorious as you have the vision to plan. The world is yearning for men who lose themselves in their appointed tasks. Faith in your capacity to meet all
tests, to overcome all obstacles is now your solemn obligation. Wear the mantle of life underwriter with the dignity it imposes. Make every Man and woman with whom you come in contact recognize as one worth knowing, one who knows what he wants from life. Then you will be rewarded with a rich measure of success, regardless of passing problems. The key to greater service is in your hands! Will you turn it? To get away from the daily routine and to get some rest and relaxation is what we endeavor to do. During this time of the year many lodges of the SPJST (mostly the rural area lodges), are noted for the absence of many of their members from the regular monthly meetings, for it is easy to succumb to the temptation of being out of doors, especially to those who have to work indoors.
