DAWN'S SALUTATION Look to this day, For it is the very life of life In its brief course lie all the varieties and realities of your existence; The glory of action, The bliss of growth, The splendor of beauty; For yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow is only a vision; But today, well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this day. Such is the salutation of the dawn. which creates an atmosphere of fraternal brotherhood at the gathering. We regret that we could not attend the 62nd anniversary celebration of Lodge No. 84, Dallas. Naturally, we wish them all the best of luck and progress in the years ahead. • We had the opportunity to attend an educational and inspiring seminar on Friday night, March 10 at Lodge No. 66, Waco, which was held by District III Organizer Alvin Nesuda for an enthusiastic group of organizers from seven lodges. Brother Nesuda welcomed the large group of organizers, guests and editor. He congratulated the organizers for their fine work and cooperation. District II Organizer Lad Zatopek con-
Veyed best wishes frgin Supreme Lodge Vice President Joe B. Hejny, who could not be present due to illness. Brother Zatopek complimented District III on their sales and wished them continued success. Brother Nesuda introduced Roger and Laura Nesuda of Amarillo. Brother Roger Nesuda lectured on selling techniques. He has a broad range of knowledge, and he presented a lot of god points to the organizers; and making a few humorous comments made lecture very interesting. Brother Roger Nesuda is the son' of DO Alvin Nesuda and DYD Wilma Nesuda of Ennis. He is a graduate of A M University; a 3-year-commission graduate in Armed Services from Fort Benning, Ga., and served one year in Korea; lie is in the reserves as, Staff Officer (Lt.). He has had training in sales from Monsanto, and presently is a sales representative for Woodbury Ch-inical Co. Those in attendance at the seminar will agree, that he exemplified his selling techniques very well. The refreshments which were served by Sisters Jeanette Smith and Darlene Engelke were enjoyed by all.
