Many people braved the damp, cold weather Saturday afternoon, and a big crowd was present in the evening for the official opening, and on Sunday, bright and sunshiny, there was a throng present both afternoon and evening.

Information and photos of District VI meeting will appear next week — just not enough room this week. • • Your editor wishes to thank and acknowledge with gratitude the following editorial sent to him by Sister Wilma Nesuda. Much of the information appeared in the Ennis Daily News and all of the photos of Lodge No. 25's two-day dedication were from the News via Sister Nesuda. Thanks! • • SL Officers present Saturday, November 6 were: Vice President Joe B. Hejny and wife, Financial Secretary Ben Zabcik, wife and daughter, Barbara, and her children; Treasurer Leonard Mikeska, wife and children, District III Director Sid Pokladnik and wife, and District V Director Ernest 'Hanka. Present Sunday, November 7 were: Honorary SL President Edward L. Marnek and wife, President N. A. Morris. The Ennis Veterans of Foreign Wars post presented the lodge a United States Flag, which had flown over the U.S. Capital, and its dedication, conducted by post and lodge was the first event, early Saturday afternoon, with VFW Commander Albin Dlaba.j and SPJST President Johnie Hrabina in charge. The flag, received by youth of the lodge, Mark Strunc, Ronnie Haskovec and Milton Douglas Martinek, was raised , in memory of the late Emil `Trojacek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Trojacek of Telico, who lost his life in World War II, and Edwin Gurecky, son of A. F. Gurecky and the late Mrs. Guerecky and who lost his life in the Korean Conflict. Emil was the first
