ALL WE SAY If all that we say in a single day, With never a word left out, Were printed each night in clear black and white, 'Twould prove queer reading, no doubt. And then, just suppose, ere your eyes we could close, We must read the Whole record through; Then wouldn't we sigh, and wouldn't we try A great deal less talking to do? And I more than half think that many a kink Would be smoother in life's tangled thread, If half that we say in a single day Were left forever unsaiti. No. 40, Hillje, in this issue. School days have arrived and the youth have begun another school year. No doubt this will be a very busy, fastmoving month, as our young people begin again to adjust to the daily routine of attending classes, doing homework and attending extra-curricular affairs. The school years, both elementary and secondary, are the most important years of a young person's life. So much is to be had by those youngsters who avail themselves of the opportunity to further their education, and " education is most important.

We need men and women th every walk of life to become qualified leaders and instructors. The basic training our youngsters receive in schools today will prepare them for a brighter future in this hard-:working universe. However, school is only part of the training they will need for their futures. Also clean, wholesome, family living will provide a strong foundation for a secure tomorrow. Along with this, your membership in our Society will give you so much of what is needed to get along with many and varied personalities, to organize and to lead group projects, and to provide a knowledge of solid foundation. If you are a member of our Society, then why not take advantage of the many opportunities that await you? If you are not an active youth member, start now to become one; also get your friends who are members and get interested in fraternal work and you will never regret it. For information contact your local youth leader or district youth director in your respective district. The SPJST Youth Department has come a long way and still has a long way to go. The adults in our Society are doing more than their part to further your interest, and now you, in turn, must do your part. 0
