Hut too often the same familiar faces turn up every year, from time to time, breathless, appealing and hopeful as a two-page release is turned in at the last minute. One of the responsibilities of a publicity chairman or correspondent is not only to write the news but to get it in on time and the earlier the better. It could happen.
