FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK At the right our readers will see a picture of a Lunar Module — LM (in this case, Eagle) blasting off from the lunar surface. At the time, you read these lines, we, together with the entire world hope and feel confident that this has transpired after Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aidrin, Jr., had re-entered the LM and blasted off to rejoin the Command Service Module — CSM (Columbia) commanded by Astronaut Michael Collins for the journey back to Mother Earth, after having set foot on the surface of the moon. These three selfconfident, brave young men are to be commended for many things — one of them being the fact that they took to and left on the surface of the moon momentoes of their three fellow American Astronauts and medals of two fellow Russian Cosmonauts all of whom had perished in the space effort. The medals were given to Astronaut Frank Borman by the widows of the Russian Cosmonauts when he visited in the Soviet Union, recently, thus, showing to the world that our space program is truly a program for peace.
