Make plans to join us for our new message series “Summer Of The Son” beginning Sunday, June 5th. This series is all about JESUS! We are all on our own journey to become more like Him, and we believe this series can help our families and strengthen our faith.

Pastor’s Perspective Junior High can be a crazy age for young people. Their bodies, interests, goals, and friend groups rapidly change during this time, and the reality of pimples, peer pressure, and personal hygiene emerge quickly.

That awkward phase of life was when my first ministry opportunity came about. It was not preaching a sermon, singing a song, or even being seen on stage. I was asked to join the Puppet Ministry Team. I know what you are thinking…It was not the manliest of ministry roles for sure! I rarely bragged to my friends about how well I could comb the puppet’s hair, paint the props, or time the puppet’s mouth with the music. However, that team was a place where I could serve and grow.

It allowed me to make new friends and minister alongside people who loved God as I did.

My role on the puppet ministry team was not glamorous…I held the props in place while more “experienced” puppeteers operated the characters. But that didn’t matter…the other team members made me feel like my contribution was vital to the success of our group.

You see, serving God is not about personal glory or promotion. We serve for God’s glory and to advance His Kingdom. When we serve at SpiritCHURCH, our focus shifts from ourselves to the least, last, and the lost.

We need your creativity and enthusiasm. We need you! Like me, your role might be holding a prop, but you are a vital part of God’s family. 1 Corinthians 12:27 reminds us, “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.”

YOUTH CAMP SpiritYOUTH is attending Camp Cargill Youth Camp June 13-17th.

They will be departing from the SpiritCHURCH parking lot on Monday, June 13th. Please arrive at 9:00am for check in. They will return on Friday, June 17th at approximately 2:30pm.We know it will be an incredible experience

Kiddie Park Day is almost here! Join us on Saturday, June 4th from 9:00AM-11:00AM at Bartlesville’s very own Kiddie Park for a morning of fun! Free rides are available for all SpiritCHURCH families and all families with foster or adopted children.

PROMOTION SUNDAY Promotion Sunday is Sunday, June 5th!

Kids finishing Kindergarten and going into 1st Grade will be joining SpiritKIDS. Those finishing 5th grade going into 6th grade are invited to join SpiritYOUTH on Sunday night, June 5th from 5:307:30PM. High School Graduates are invited to join SYA on Wednesday, June 2nd for a hang out night at P Town Pizza in Pawhuska. They will meet at the church to ride together at 5:30PM and return around 8:30PM. For more info, contact Pastor Daniel at daniel@spiritchurch.com.
