ROUMANIA x433 Roumania: a small colourful group of certificates comprising, Societatea Comunala Tramvaielor Bucaresti, 5 shares, 1919, electric tramcar at bottom, allegorical figures at top, red, green and black, with coupons; Cladirea Romaneasca S.A., 500 lei share, 1919, allegory of queen wearing crown (2 examples); Romania Petrolifera fratia, 10 shares, 1924, oil gusher at left; Romania Forestiera, 5000 lei share, 1945, numerous vignettes around border; Banca Romaneasca, 500 lei share, 1911, ornate borders with peasant farmers; Government Loan, 1941, bonds for 5000 lei and 10,000 lei, borders of military vignettes, and, a small group of 30 certificates for 10 shares of 500 lei in Creditul Minier, 1923, these without coupons, generally very fine to extremely fine and an interesting lot. (38) £100-150 434 Roumanian 4% Consolidation Loan, 1922, a set of specimen bonds (excluding the £10 denomination) for £1000, £500, £100, £50 and £20 from the Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. archives, large format pieces with vignette of peasant driving team of oxen, green, mauve, brown, red and orange respectively, text in English, French and Roumanian, about extremely fine. 435 Kingdom of Roumania Monopolies Institute, 7% Guaranteed External Sinking Fund Gold Loan, 1929, two bonds for $500, numbers 4213 and 4214, allegorical figures at top, green and black, not cancelled, with coupons; together with other certificates (25) including Brazil Railway Company, both shares and bonds, Hungary and Serbia, many very fine. (27) £80-100

437 Kingdom of Roumania Monopolies Institute, Stabilisation and Development Loan, 1929, a group of 11 bonds for £100 each, large format pieces with vignette of Bran Castle (one of the several locations for the Count Dracula legend), blue and black, with coupons, not cancelled, together with 41⁄ 2 % Internal Loan, 1913, a group of 21 bonds for 1000 lei, large format with farmer at left and his wife at right, black with pale blue underprint, with coupons, generally very fine and some better. (32) £150-180
