Coming skiing with us? If so, you must get your booking in soon or you will miss the early booking rate! For the Spice West Mids Ski Trip this year we’re off to Courchevel 1850, the legendary playground of the rich and famous. It’s a trip that ticks all the boxes: Birmingham flights; virtually ski in – ski out; Europes largest linked ski area; great options whether you’re a beginner, an intermediate, advanced skier or snow boarder. Our first 16 bookers also get £60 off Inghams current brochure price! Click HERE

September – The Video Spicer’s got up to an incredible range of events last month and some of the fun was captured on memory card. Sue has put the best bits in a video slideshow. So take a look and find out if we caught you in the action. Click HERE

Friends in Birmingham? If you know someone who deserves Spice in their lives, please let them know that they are very welcome to learn what they’re missing at our Preview Night next Thursday at MAC. It’s also the last chance in 2013 for our special membership promotion which gives them the chance of a free period of membership to see if it’s right for them. For Preview Night details click HERE

Photo of the Week This week’s much coveted prize goes to Helen Lawlor for snapping a happy group of Spice girls shaking their pom poms! See HERE

If you’re one of the members who still loves to see the Spice programme on paper, you’ll be delighted to know that our Autumn Newsletter is in it’s final stages with our printers and will be on doormats next week. It’s got events going right through to January, including our Christmas and New Year programme. We do hope you like it! Obviously a Spice Newsletter is only a snapshot in time as events are added to our website every day and some never get to appear in print. But it’s one of the ways that we communicate with the members, alongside our email bulletins, Facebook forums, website and word of mouth. If you can’t wait to see the Autumn Newsletter, you can also view it online by clicking HERE Oh, and if you don’t use the paper product anymore, just let us know and you can go “paperfree” As ever, this Bulletin is designed to give you a quick overview of what is happening this week in Spice. “Anything in blue - should click through”.

America’s got Taste! You probably don’t associate the USA with great cuisine. But the Chef at Marston Farm Hotel believes he can change our opinions of that nation. Next Friday, 11th October, our series of “around the world dinner shuffles” visits America with a great variety of tastes on offer. He has included a burger (just in case) but there’s a lot more to our American visit than that. Check out the menu HERE
