Throw a Pot this Sunday One of our top events for member feedback is our Pottery Workshop with Liz Monk and we have 2 places still available to join her this Sunday in a lovely rural Worcestershire setting. Liz will teach us a range of pottery techniques, including throwing on the potter's wheel and hand-building skills, such as slabbing and coiling. Saddle up for The Year of the Horse! Spice stallions and fillies alike will be converging at the Chung Ying Gardens on Saturday Night for our traditional Spice celebration of the start of another Chinese New Year – this time, the Year of the Horse. Celebrities born in previous Years of the Horse include such hot blooded characters as: Chopin, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Barbara Streisand, Jackie Chan, John Travolta & Paul McCartney. Your Spice team on the other hand includes 2 Pigs, a Rabbit, a Dragon & a Rat! That said, we certainly hope to provide you with every opportunity to exercise your “inner equine” during the coming months.
