Weekly Bulletin Issue 75. October 24th 2013
Brave Enough for Bootcamp? Sport and fitness has never been so popular in Spice, so we thought the time had come to offer some places on a military led boot camp weekend. It’s a tough regime but most people of good basic fitness are capable of completing it and will learn a tremendous amount about their health and fitness. If you’re brave enough to spend a January weekend at a private boarding school in the Cotswolds with a group of military instructors then click HERE
New “Biggest Loser” announced for 2014 We were taken aback at the demand for our first 12 week weight loss challenge, which was fully booked within 24 hours of its launch! After just 4 weeks, a total of around 150lb has been shed by the teams. If you missed out, Mark has a new 12 week weight loss challenge starting on January 7th. Click HERE
“you can’t come in, our robot’s head is on fire!” It was a disappointing start to Saturday night for our members booked to see a planetarium show at ThinkTank, as they arrived to find the whole complex evacuated. It turned out that “Emo” the Emotional Robot (who is programmed to show human emotions to children) simultaneously combusted on the floor below! Luckily a pub and a Chinese meal filled the void nicely and no humans were hurt. However I have no information on the fate of poor “Emo” (sad face!). We have rescheduled the Planetarium Show for January 25th, however, if you prefer the type of stars you find on stage & screen you may be interested that we have also just launched our first sleepover party of 2014 and its theme is “Hollywood & the Movies”. These parties fill fast, so please get your deposit in quick .. oh and any robot attending must be fireproof! As ever, this Bulletin is designed to give you a quick overview of what is happening this week in Spice. “Anything in blue - should click through”.
