Join the Bake Off! If you’ve been enjoying the achievements of Kimberly, Ruby and Frances from your armchair, here’s the chance to get your hands in the flour and learn some baking for yourself! We have 2 late places available this Saturday afternoon to learn Pasta and Breadmaking with the experts at Becketts Farm, Wythall. Programme Changes As we plan events so far in advance, occasionally things have to change. Here are 2 imminent changes St Nicolas Place Visit (tomorrow): Price has been reduced by £3.50 as there are no longer any refreshments included with the tour. Click Here Space Opera (Saturday): In place of the advertised single presentation we will be treated to 3 separate short films that explore our universe. Click HERE
The stakes are high when we plan our New Year Sleepover Parties, as ours have a reputation for being the most spectacular in Spice! Turning the Crowne Plaza into a beach resort last year was quite an achievement, but this year the theme of a Sergeant Peppers style Magical Mystery Circus Party has set the bar higher again! As ever, we have the whole of the prestigious Crowne Plaza hotel to ourselves for an amazing celebration. The chefs will create a range of food stations showcasing fantastic food at Pablo Fanque’s Olde Pig and Beef Roast, Mr Kites Food Emporium, Henderson’s Marvellous Deli and Lovely Rita’s Candy Store! We even have a magician to entertain those of you who are booking the extra night option. Get your deposit in quick (HERE) as it’s filling fast! Geri O’Neill Those Spice Members who knew this lovely lady are invited to her funeral on Thursday 31st October at 10.30am (Please arrive by 10.15) at Saint George & Saint Teresa's Church 337 Station Road, Dorridge, Solihull, B93 8EZ. Interment will follow at Widney Manor Cemetery, Bentley Heath, B93 9AA. There is also a reception to church on Wednesday 30th Oct at 5.30pm at St George & St Teresa's. Any questions may be directed via the Spice Office.
