Virgins & Vacuums! A Letter from the Director What a wild ride this show has been over the last ten years. For those of you witnessing this hot mess of a spectacle for your rst and *only* time, pop that edible now, honey -because we’re about to y into the night! is show rst started at Missie B’s in October 2014 and we played to two sold-out houses of a hundred people each. I was inspired to do something special and unique for the Halloween holiday after having previously produced a stage reading of Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion, with most of the same cast. As each year grew, we found ourselves doing a run of six shows over six nights… and we certainly felt over 300 years old when all was said and done. en there was the year that we sold out on Halloween and I was stuck in a hospital in Mexico from a car accident with three broken ribs. But the show went on and the incredible Stephonne Singleton stepped into play the buck-toothed re y from Hell.

2020 had different plans for everyone. Not one to ruin everyone’s holiday fun while hunkering down in our homes, I got the cast together and recorded them individually to create a virtual movie version of our stage show. In doing so, I was able to have special guests make appearances in the show including Heidi Naomi, Luna Flare, Katie Gilchrist, Justin Carter-Van Pelt, and Widow von Du. Once we were allowed back into the wilderness, the show had gotten too big for “bar theater” as it were and we burst our way onto the magni cent Folly eater stage in 2021. Last year we welcomed Chioma Anyanwu to the cast and it would be remiss of me not to mention Brian Cross (our original Max), who is off galavanting on cruise ships across the world.

Now, after 10 years, it’s time to put the Sanderson Sisters back into the ground. is incredible cast has delivered big laughs every year and getting to share a stage with these talented comedians has brought me so much joy -despite my Resting Witch Face throughout the show. ank you to those of you who have made our show part of your annual tradition. Some of you have been each and every year and you’re truly the reason we are all here tonight: we blame you.

Tonightʼs performance will benefit KC PET PROJECT KC Pet Project is a 501c3, nonpro t charitable organization operating the KC Campus for Animal Care, Kansas City, Missouri’s, Animal Shelter. We care for more than 15,000 animals a year and now have 14 locations in Missouri and Kansas to adopt out pets.

We focus on progressive programs to help people keep their pets through Lost and Found services, our Keep ‘Em Together, KC program, and pet safety initiatives like microchipping, pet identi cation, and more.

KC Pet Project also performs all animal control operations for Kansas City, MO, through our Animal Services Division.

KCPP MISSION Leading the way in creating a compassionate, safe community for pets and people through progressive, lifesaving programs and services, community resources, and educational opportunities.

KCPP PURPOSE e purpose of KC Pet Project is to provide sheltering and animal services to the community of Kansas City, MO by placing pets into homes with families, enhancing public safety through animal control services, being a resource to people and pets in our community, reuniting lost pets with their owners, establishing pet retention programs, providing humane education opportunities, and enriching the lives of pets and people in Kansas City to build up and support a more safe and humane Kansas City. We are reimagining the role of animal services in our community.

CAST BIOS MATT ANDERSON (DANI, ALISON, OTHERS) As one of the lesser known actors in the show, Matt Anderson is just happy to be here. His resume includes only this show, so you know you’re getting a low quality, top cost performance. As this 10 year wild ride comes to a bittersweet end, he’d like to thank his family, his friends, the tremendous Kansas City community for letting this show go on for as long as it has, and Fireball.

CHADWICK BROOKS (SARAH SANDERSON) Chadwick Brooks is Assistant Vice President of Institutional Advancement at the Kansas City Art Institute and President of the Board of Directors at the KC Care Health Center. You may also have seen him on stage in the Late Night eatre production Golden Girls Gone Wild! as Betty White as Rose at the Folly eater.

He has also appeared in Designed Women as Delta Burke as Suzanne Sugarbaker, Valley of the Dolls as Ethel Merman as Helen Lawson and Fabulously Absolute as Jennifer Saunders as Eddie, just to name a few. Classically trained at the UMKC Conservatory of Music, Chadwick is a well-known supporter of the thriving Kansas City arts community.

DAISY BUCKËT (WINIFRED SANDERSON) For over 17 years, Daisy Buckët has entertained audiences around North America.

Daisy’s debut album Pansy won e Pitch Magazine's Best Local Album 2018 and Best 7" Single ("Pansy"). She’s also won e Pitch Magazine's Best Drag Artist (2019, 2021 & 2022). In 2021, Daisy received the rst-ever Hero of Note Award by the Heartland Men's Chorus for her support of the chorus and its mission.

She’s also raised well over $100,000 dollars for the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City over the years and served as Honorary Co-Chair for the 35th Annual AIDSWalk Kansas City this year.

Daisy has played the role of Trampolina in America’s Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet, e Kinsey Sicks, for 15 years and has appeared on Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen, RuPaul's Drag Race (S8 nale), CNN and e Gong Show. In August, they played the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland with their show, Drag Queen Storytime Gone Wild! Next year the group will celebrate its 30th Anniversary.

Notable roles: Blanche Devereaux (Golden Girls Gone Wild), Mary Jo (Designed Women), Riff Raff ( e Rocky Horror Show), Cher (Cluelessness), Blair (Alternative Facts of Life), Sharon Tate as Jennifer (Valley of the Dolls) and Mary Rose Foster ( e Rose: A Rock Tragedy) which she wrote. She’s also known for her wildly successful solo cabaret shows including Leading Lady, Balls of Brass, Raising the Bar (or How I Bar Hopped My Way to the Top), Pansy, and e Love Witch.

In September, Daisy released her sophomore album, Welcome to Spring eld, nominated Best New Local Album by e Pitch. In November, she will play a special concert at e Black Box with a full band performing songs from her most recent album and celebrating the music of Dusty Spring eld. Next year, she will co-direct La Cage aux Folles at Music eater Heritage.

JESSICA DRESSLER (THE NARRATOR) You know this crazy gal from decades as Dirty Dorothy, a co-producer, writer, and wild and crazy actor with Late Night Theatre, and from selling you houses with Reece Nichols. She's ECSTATIC to be back with these yahoos for the Hocus Poke Us FINALE--she loves these weirdos, and is excited to throw shots of Fireball at them across the Folly stage one last time.

What's she been doing lately aside from selling houses you ask? MAKING A MOVIE! That's right, Jessica Dressler has co-written and co-produced with Jen Klenke, a full-length feature right here in KC! Late Night alumni are in the amazing cast! It wrapped filming 10/15, went into post-production 10/16, and will have a KC premiere shooting for early Fall 2024!!! Follow "FilmRennie" on social medias for updates!!!

RON MEGEE (BINX, BILLY, OTHERS) Ron Megee is the co-founder of Late Night Theatre, which has produced and staged over 100 parody, campy shows. Some major hits are Valley of the Dolls, The Birds, Alternative Facts of Life, Dykes of Hazzard, and Golden! Girls Gone Wild. Ron has appeared on many stages around town, including The Unicorn Theatre, Lyric Opera, The Coterie, The New Theatre Restaurant, Starlight, and KC Rep. Ron hit the boards at Worlds Of Fun during the plague, and played the Alligator King during Carnivale and Skeleton King for Haunt.

Now, he is (happily) trapped in the Live Entertainment Dept. Ron has won numerous awards, including the Mark Dreiling Award for Community Leadership from AIDS Service Foundation Kansas City, Charlotte Street Foundation Visual Artist Award, 13 Pitch Awards, and the GLAADKC Citizen of the Year.

ASHLEY PERSONETT (MAX) Mother of Twins. Event Producer and Creator. All around Baddie. Ashley has been fortunate enough to work and learn from the best in KC. Credits include Late Night Theatre, Starlight, The Lyric Opera, The Coterie, The Black Box, Epic Entertainment.
