Signage was required to reflect the change from a Regional to an International Airport.

The updating of Firth Branding nationwide. Project signage includes concrete trucks, concrete plant, site signage, way-finding signage and point of sale.

Close consultation with George White, the Rotorua Airport CEO, and David Jones, the Designer, ensured that outcome expectations and tight deadlines were met.

Projects require coordination with Firth National Marketing Manager to ensure Brand compliance.

The project involved refurbishment of the existing roadside Pylon Sign with a re-skin in vinyl. The exterior building signage consisted of individually cut 3D lettering installed on colour coordinated rails and internal signage was supplied for the Duty Free and Customs areas.

“Speedy Signs was a valued member of the team that helped with the change over from the Regional Airport to the Rotorua International Airport.

“We have a single point of contact at Speedy Signs to project manage our National Signage requirements. For example, Brent, from Speedy Signs in East Tamaki produces the signage and then uses other Speedy Signs stores to do the site visits and installations for projects outside Auckland.

The team at Speedy Signs translated the designer’s concepts into a practical reality and despite the tight deadline, completed the project ahead of schedule. We are delighted with the quality of the signage, the impact it has made and the image it portrays”.

This one constant contact point ensures that our Brand Standards are maintained and that time frame and budget requirements are met”.
