With the concepts and pricing approved, Speedy Signs produced large scale LED Channel Lettering.

The production and manufacturing of all signage components was required to meet a deadline for the consolidation of all elements involved in the total fit out, shipped to China from New Zealand.

Produce way-finding and environmental graphic signage from original and handcrafted designs supplied. Recommendation of appropriate materials and processes to meet the client brief, deliver within the specified timeframe and budget.

SIGNAGE, WAY FINDING AND ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS The design and construction of the Marston Street office has been three years in the making for Jasmax and we regarded it as a physical expression of our business and the knowledge and skill we possess and deliver. As such it has carried considerable priority for the practice and our ability to demonstrate the value we offer our clients. We have been fortunate during this process to have been assisted by people like Mark Jonassen and the team at Speedy Signs who have, through their skill, passion and commitment, contributed to its successful outcome. Jasmax undertook to develop concepts for its way-finding and environmental graphics that would reflect the personality of its people, creative process and the architectural themes explored in the new building development. As the solutions tended towards original designs that were very graphical and handcrafted, it required an applicator with appropriate skill and understanding of material and process to bring these to life. Mark and the team offered valuable advice on the concept development, appropriate materials for application and embraced the concepts of craft which have all been delivered in the final result. Along with a challenging conceptual brief was a tight delivery timeframe and restricted budget. Mark was proactive in offering solutions to ensure the budget was met, submitted clear and scheduled elemental breakdowns of the signage scope for our review and met the installation timeframes in all instances. All projects are exciting, however a project of this nature really excels relationships and Mark and his team at Speedy Signs has not only shown an immense understanding but also real passion for the outcomes of the project. The Project Team within Jasmax have sincerely enjoyed the journey and we have no hesitation in recommending them to someone looking to engage their services for future work. Should you wish to contact the writer for a verbal update of this reference, I would be delighted to elaborate further. Yours sincerely Jasmax Limited Chris Jack, Senior Associate

“Speedy Signs was a valued member of the team that helped with the change over from the Regional Airport to the Rotorua International Airport.

“We have a single point of contact at Speedy Signs to project manage our National Signage requirements. For example, Brent, from Speedy Signs in East Tamaki produces the signage and then uses other Speedy Signs stores to do the site visits and installations for projects outside Auckland.

The team at Speedy Signs translated the designer’s concepts into a practical reality and despite the tight deadline, completed the project ahead of schedule. We are delighted with the quality of the signage, the impact it has made and the image it portrays”.

This one constant contact point ensures that our Brand Standards are maintained and that time frame and budget requirements are met”.

Speedy Signs worked closely with Kathmandu and their Designers to develop methods and specifications to implement the design concepts.

Project management of national signage requirements including buildings, vehicles and farm gate signs. Building signage includes Box Aluminium 3D signs requiring crane work for installation, up to 30 metres high.

“Dylan at Speedy Signs coordinates our diverse signage requirements across a wide range of locations. Many of our buildings give us great opportunities for brand promotion, but their height presents challenges.

To achieve the desired effect of the large scale graphics, visible through the feature windows, consultation and detailed planning with the shop fitters was required.

Speedy Signs take all projects in their stride – nothing is too difficult or too much trouble and our brand is always faithfully reproduced and applied to specified standards”.

The project signage also included large scale interior graphics for the portal behind the counter area and a sophisticated acrylic entry point light box incorporating 3D lettering.

Speedy Signs were asked to recommend suitable substrates, supply and apply signage for two related, but stand alone companies. Outgro Bio Agricultural Ltd provides sustainable biological solutions to farmers around the North Island and has a range of light and heavy commercial vehicles. These vehicles are subjected to gravel and other natural abrasives during off-road and rural use. Outback Helicopters Ltd is engaged in crop dusting and their signage needed to overcome the rivets and the helicopter’s compound curves, adhesion problems over rivets and extreme operational weather conditions.

“Our expectations were met and exceeded. The results are testimony to Speedy Signs expertise and commitment to the customer.

The initial exterior signage contract was gained through tender. A contributing factor in the winning of the tender was the inhouse designed Post & Panel System for Directional Signage. Under the tender an etched stainless steel main entrance sign and 40 Post & Panel Directional Signs were produced and installed.

The results are not only a great advertisement for our business, but for Speedy Signs as well”.
