When I sat down to write the opening paragraph for the 2012 Shadow catalog, I began to reflect on the fact that I am living a dream I’ve had since I first got into BMX over 25 years ago. Back then, all I wanted to do was ride, eat, and breathe BMX. Now, all these years later, it honestly doesn’t feel real that I get to wake up every day and do just that. The Shadow Conspiracy, at it’s core, is just a group of guys from the Southeastern United States who truly love BMX. As a company we want to do everything in our power to create products and build a scene that hopefully brings an element of fun to the riding and lifestyle of BMX. Through that, we never intend to impose our beliefs on any riders. We merely want to support the BMX scene and bring our own take to it through the products we make and events we support. 2012 marks the 10th Anniversary in the life of Shadow, so we really want to reach out to everyone that’s helped us get to where we are today. Without all your help and support, we wouldn’t have been able to grow and accomplish everything that has now become “our” dream. You’re all amazing people and are truly a part of the Shadow family!
