Master of Science in Special Education PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Participate in practical experiences while studying theoretical and research background. Through small class settings, students build relationships with their professors that create a positive and engaging learning community. Students learn best practices for working with students with varying needs, including how to work with gifted students. Focus on studying mild, moderate and
significant disabilities to better serve students.
Work closely with faculty in a small program designed to create highly-qualified special educators. This program prepares teachers to work with students with disabilities in grades 1-6.
