OUTCOMES Since 2007, the Educational Leadership program has graduated 194 students in cohorts in Albany and New York City. Eighty-one percent of our students graduated with their cohort. The national average completion rates for humanities doctoral program is approximately 50% graduation within ten years.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS • Official graduate-level transcripts totaling at least 60 credits of study with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher • Three letters of recommendation that address the candidate’s potential relationship to system leadership. Two letters must be from a current or former supervisor. One letter may be from a colleague. • A career goals essay supporting the choice to enter doctoral study at this time • A current resume • If selected, a personal admissions interview including an on-demand writing sample to determine readiness and capability for scholarly writing.
