If I had a year off, I would really like to see more of my country. I’d visit places like Banff and Lake Louise, Vancouver, Gaspésie and the Magdalen Islands. When not taking photos for Air Canada enRoute, I collaborate with local restaurants such as Hvor, which recently opened in Griffintown, as well as advertising agencies with clients like Natrel and the SAQ. Je vis à Montréal. Premier souvenir de voyage Découvrir le sable rouge, l’eau glacée et les méduses des plages de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard. En année sabbatique, je voudrais découvrir mon pays : j’irais à Banff, au lac Louise, à Vancouver, en Gaspésie et aux îles de la Madeleine. Quand je ne photographie pas pour Air Canada enRoute, je collabore avec des restaurants locaux, comme le Hvor qui vient d’ouvrir à Griffintown, ainsi qu’avec des agences de publicité ayant entre autres Natrel et la SAQ pour clients.

LETTER OF THE MONTH / LA LETTRE DU MOIS I fly monthly for my work as a physician YDF in the Arctic and always read Air Canada enRoute cover to cover. My favourite part is the 360 º section, especially Flight Deck, with Captain Doug Morris’ aviation tidbits. In the May issue, I was pleased to read the Behind the Scenes column about the Environmental Affairs team and details on how Air Canada is decreasing its environmental footprint. Way to go, Air Canada! YOURS TO KEEP

When not writing for Air Canada enRoute, I work at the Gardiner Museum managing art installations by day, and I’m an analog photography instructor and sculptor after-hours. Je vis à Toronto. Premier souvenir de voyage Le Luxembourg. Je m’y revois traînant un camion de pompier dans les flaques d’eau, une crème glacée dans l’autre main. Meilleur moment du reportage Les gâteries au miel du chef Hamid Miss, après un dîner arrosé au champagne à La Pente Douce, à Toulouse. Quand je n’écris pas pour Air Canada enRoute, le jour, je m’occupe des installations artistiques du musée Gardiner. Le soir, je suis sculpteur et prof de photographie analogique.

I was thrilled to read “You Shall Know Our Velocity” in the April issue. The collection of photos from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy was beautiful. As I live in Munich, I was immediately attracted to the photos of BMW Welt and the Olympic Tower. The story had such an impact that I’ve already started planning the same road trip from Munich to Monaco, something I never would have thought of doing if it weren’t for this article. As a frequent flyer, I always look forward to browsing the 360º section, which looks at the latest news from Air Canada. It’s such a treat to read – I’m a self-confessed aviation geek. We stayed in Sorrento for 10 days and got fat on pasta and seafood. Best drink in the best bar A Venezuelan rum called Pampero Aniversario at the Blue Blazer pub in Edinburgh. It’s the best rum I’ve ever tasted, and I may have tasted too much. When not working with Air Canada enRoute, I contribute to the New York Observer, Adweek and the Texas Observer. Je vis à Manchester. Dernières vacances Naples. Ma femme et moi y avons célébré notre premier anniversaire de mariage. Dix jours à Sorrente à s’empiffrer de pâtes et de fruits de mer. Meilleure boisson dans le meilleur bar Le Pampero Aniversario, un rhum vénézuélien, au Blue Blazer à Édimbourg. C’est le meilleur rhum que j’ai goûté, et j’en ai peut-être abusé. ERRATA In our May 360º section, the Travel News story “New Flights Connect Hamilton and Montreal” refers to Bombardier CRJ100/200 jets, but the photo shows a Bombardier CRJ705. And in our June Travel News story “Concierge Service on Social Media,” we misspelled the name of Air Canada Altitude Super Elite 100K member Dr. Ted Witek. Air Canada enRoute regrets these errors.
