Barcelona is now even closer thanks to new LATAM flights FROM THE NORTH SEA to the Mediterranean, from the Atlantic to the Ural Mountains, Europe is packed with beauty, history and an incredible wealth of experiences to be discovered. Many Latin Americans dream of traveling to the Old Continent and discovering its distinct cultures. And thanks to an increase in LATAM’s transatlantic flights and lower fares, this dream is finally more accessible to all. It is with great joy that I announce, starting December 15 (tickets already on sale), that we’ll be taking you from Lima to Barcelona with three direct flights every week, in addition to the weekly seven flights we offer from São Paulo. From the Catalan capital,
LATAM passengers can easily connect to over 140 destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa on flights operated by Vueling, thanks to a recent agreement with the Spanish airline whose hub is Barcelona airport. With these new flights, we expect that an extra 25,000 passengers per year will visit Gaudí’s hometown, a favorite among the many travelers who have fallen in love with the Passeig de Gràcia and the Gothic Quarter in a multicultural metropolis with excellent food and design. Many people dream of visiting Camp Nou – the legendary soccer stadium built in 1957 that’s home to the city’s eponymous team – or the La Boquería market, famous for its spices and fresh ingredients, like fish
and cheese. All this is possible thanks to LATAM.
