In 2014, she graduated from LEAD Brevard and since 2015, she has been a volunteer for Junior Achievement of the Space Coast. Shareholder Adam Bird’s practice matches that of his civic experience: well-versed and varied. He has experience in many general litigation matters, but focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, including contract disputes, real property and real estate litigation, residential and commercial landlordtenant matters, labor and employment issues and other legal matters facing both individuals and business organizations. His civic endeavors include being a member of the board for the Space Coast Health Foundation and LEAD Brevard. In the past, Bird served as treasurer for 2-1-1 Brevard, legal advisor for the South Brevard Sharing Center and graduated from Leadership Brevard in 2011. Attorney and CPA Brad White is another shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Melbourne office who shows versatility through his practice and commitment to the community. White has significant experience representing clients involved in complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, reorganizations, investments and joint ventures. He is currently a member of the Melbourne Regional Chamber of East Central Florida and serves on the board of directors for the Economic Development Commission of Florida's Space Coast. GrayRobinson’s newest additions include litigation attorney, Paul E. Parrish, and real estate attorney, Michael Schneider, both shareholders. Parrish, a former partner at Quarles & Brady, LLP, brings decades of insurance and maritime litigation experience to GrayRobinson. As a veteran commercial litigator, Parrish has acted as trial counsel in state and federal courts in litigation arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), including litigation concerning pension benefits, health and disability benefits and breach of fiduciary duty claims. Schneider further solidified the firm’s real estate practice, joining with more than 20 years of experience handling real estate closings in Florida. His practice focuses on structuring real estate holdings and navigating real estate transactions. The most recent alteration to Melbourne’s office structure was the transition of Erik Shuman as the office’s managing director in Q3 of 2018. Along with the office’s management responsibilities, he maintains a successful estate planning and elder law practice.
