This approach improves our service delivery, and supports our mission of creating opportunities and changing lives.

We understand the environmental impact the delivery of our services has. This includes how we build and maintain our homes, to how we support our stakeholders in adopting environmentally friendly practices.
Here is how we’ve been supporting our customers, colleagues and communities:
Conway Point has delivered £70,000 of environmental value.
We’re taking decisive action to tackle our carbon footprint, with our goal being to achieve net-zero status. To accelerate action, we’ve invested resources and funds, and will continue to do so.
During the build process of Conway Point, Sovini Construction has reduced carbon dioxide (CO2) by 2,300 tonnes.
We actively procure services from subcontractors who are committed to reducing their environmental impact, as we encourage our suppliers to join us on our journey to net-zero.
Our dedicated employee app Ourspace provides colleagues with advice and guidance on how to adopt environmentally conscious changes to both their work and personal lives.
Conway Point features environmentally efficient specifications, supplied by our Group’s award-winning local independent builders’ merchant, Sovini Trade Supplies, including toilets, taps, showers, and light fittings.
This ‘fabric first’ approach focuses on the reduction of energy consumption, through thermal efficiency and reduced running costs for clients.
Sovini Construction are committed to a zero-to-landfill approach to facilitate our carbon reduction commitment. This means that we recycle and reuse 100% of construction waste.
In 2022/23, Sovini Construction’s economic contribution across Wirral totalled £1.2M.

Governance is the internal system of practices, controls and procedures that Sovini Construction has adopted in order to measure our social, environmental and economic impact. It supports us in making effective decisions, complying with the law, and meeting the needs of external stakeholders.
Effective governance is vital in underpinning the work that we do.It enables us to manage risk effectively and take informed decisions based on evidence. We have been working hard to embed a culture of good governance by practicing environmental, social and economic accountability and transparency across all levels of our business and throughout our supply chain.
