Julie Andrews plays Millie who, after three months living in 1922 New York, now has a new modern sensibility and look to match, complete with bobbed hair and dresses with hemlines above the knee.

A Matinee Film Brian And Charles

Brian is a lonely inventor whose unconventional contraptions seldom work. After a harsh winter he does what any sane person would do when faced with such a melancholic situation: he creates a robot from an old washing machine and calls him Charles. Charles learns English from a dictionary and is obsessed with cabbages.
