Fly directly into the heart of Queensland Country with Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport, Australia’s newest destination airport. Designed with accessibility in mind, the state-of-theart passenger terminal offers easy access for travellers of all abilities. With direct flights to Sydney, Brisbane, and Regional Queensland, Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport connects you to the world with ease.
The airport is committed to making your journey smooth and comfortable, offering accessible parking bays close to the terminal, curbside access, and accessible bathroom facilities. Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport is served by two main carriers: Qantas and Regional Express (REX). Emerald Airport
Emerald Airport, located just 6 km south of the town centre, serves as the gateway to the northern part of Queensland Country, within the Central Queensland Highlands.
Owned and operated by the Central Highlands Regional Council, the airport is well-equipped to ensure a smooth travel experience for all passengers. With regular flights operated by Qantas and Virgin Australia, Emerald Airport connects you to major destinations across Australia.
For those driving to the airport, the first hour of parking in the short-term lot is free, with both short-term and long-term options available. Rental cars are also on-site, provided by Avis/Budget and Hertz, making it easy to explore the region upon arrival.
The airport’s facilities are designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring that all travellers, regardless of mobility, can navigate the terminal with ease. If you require any assistance during your visit, friendly staff are available to help.

Just an hour from Queensland Country, Brisbane Airport is your nearest major gateway from both domestic and international locations.
The airport is fully equipped to cater to all travellers, offering accessible parking close to both Domestic and International terminals, as well as step-free pathways from drop-off zones. Inside, you will find accessible bathrooms, dedicated seating areas, and specialised assistance for those with mobility needs or hidden disabilities. Downs Steam Tourist Railway & Museum Based in Toowoomba, DownsSteam has restored the last remaining steam locomotive built at the historic Toowoomba Foundry Company and regularly holds passenger trips to surrounding towns and villages.
Downs Explorer Based at the Warwick Railway Precinct, Downs Explorer has both steam and diesel locomotives that carry their vintage carriage fleet on tours to Stanthorpe, Toowoomba, and more.

Dalby Soundtrail
Situated along the Myall Creek the Dalby Soundtrail is an immersive audio experience that guides visitors through the town’s rich history and cultural heritage. Visitors can explore Dalby at their own pace, with GPS-triggered stories narrated by local voices, historians, and artists. This unique experience brings the town’s landmarks and hidden gems to life, offering a deeper connection to Dalby’s past and present.

All Abilities playgrounds
All Abilities playgrounds are designed to ensure children of all ages and abilities can engage in fun, challenging play with their friends and family. These spaces combine natural and built elements to promote various forms of play, including active, exploratory, and social activities. Across Queensland, there are 17 all abilities playgrounds offering inclusive play environments. Some locations also feature the Liberty Swing, a wheelchairaccessible swing. Emerald Rotary Park
Emerald Rotary Park offers an inclusive and family-friendly space featuring wheelchairaccessible play equipment. The soft-fall flooring and fenced perimeter provide safety and ease of movement, while the shaded picnic shelter includes accessible tables and seating.

An accessible pathway framed by vibrant bougainvillea leads through a welcoming arbour to the reception area of the Miles Historical Village Museum.
Flat pathways follow the historic main street of Miles, originally named Dogwood Crossing by explorer Ludwig Leichhardt and later renamed in 1878.
A gently sloping ramp provides access to the Dalwogan Train Station exhibit, where visitors can peer inside the original Steam Engine No. 944.
Columboola Hall, one of the first buildings relocated to the Village, is filled with fascinating artefacts that tell the stories of early local life.
