The Waubeesee Lake Protection (WLPD) intends to apply for a permit from the Wisconsin DNR to treat 25 acres on Waubeesee Lake with aquatic pesticides to control aquatic nuisances. The treatments would take place between April 1 and Sept 30, 2018.

WLPD will conduct a public informational meeting on the proposed treatment if five or more individuals, organizations, special units of government, or local units of government request one. The meeting will give citizens a chance to learn more about the proposed treatment based on information provided to the citizens attending the meeting.
