Independent merges with Villa Park Review
Starting with this issue, the Villa Park Independent has been merged with the Villa Park Review under the Villa Park Review name. Villa Park Independent subscribers will receive the Villa Park Review ev-
ery Thursday. Newsstand copies of the Review will be available every Thursday afternoon. Businesses will still be offered advertising in the Villa Park Review in combination with the Lombardian,
Elmhurst Independent, Addison Independent, Bensenville Independent and theindependentnewspapers.com. “The change will allow us to expand local news content into one publication serving Villa Park every
Thursday by mail, carrier, newsstand and email delivery. The new format also makes the paper easier to read in both print and digital formats,” stated Pete Cruger, publisher of Rock Valley Publishing.
The Villa Park Review began serving the village in 1961. The Villa Park Independent was launched in 2002. Rock Valley Publishing, publishers of the Villa Park Independent, purchased the Villa Park Review in 2016.
