Summer campers

CHRIS FOX PHOTO Villa Park Review

The Villa Park Parks and Recreation Department’s summer camps for children began last week at the Iowa Community Center. The photo from Friday shows members of the Adventure Camp, which welcomes kids ages 8-12. Pictured left to right with camp counselors Olivia Hartshorn (far left) and Zachary Noesen (far right) are Mason Barker, Jack Braunstein, Rylan Bry and Emily Gonzalez. The eight-week camp meets Monday through Friday—from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.—through Aug. 7. There is no camp on Friday, July 3. There is a theme to the final day of each week. Last week’s Theme Friday was Superhero Day. The camp is still accepting registrations for its remaining sessions. For more information, call 630-834-8970.
