Community service officers from the police department recorded the serial number and took pictures of each bicycle. If a registered bike is ever lost and recovered, police will be able to identify it and return it to its owner. The Kooima family of Villa Park registered five bicycles at Saturday’s event. Pictured left to right are: Sara, June (age 8), John, Leo (age 7) and Natalie (age 10).
