Stem, Music and Art classes will be included in our summer program. Our STEM classes will be taught by teacher Kalli Schamberger. She grew up in Stockton and graduated from Central College with
her teaching degree in 2015. She recently taught fifth grade for two years in Bettendorf Iowa. She will be teaching two camps this summer with two sessions, one for ages five through seven and another for ages eight through eleven. Students will build paper airplanes, turn gummy
worms into electric eels and make snowflakes in July. They will also make rainclouds, turn eggs into geodes and build a tower out of spaghetti noodles and more. Be ready to put your thinking caps on. The older group will have balloon races, create chemical reactions and much more.

We are lucky to have Music Educator, Lisa Nadig joining in on the summer fun at the park as our AMA Summer Jam in the Park teacher. She has more than 25 years music teaching experience in a wide variety of settings, including PK- 8 and college level. Her teaching is infused with the perspective and knowledge gained in her professional singing career, appearing in many diverse venues, including the Chicago Symphony and Carnegie Hall. This summer she is teaching two camps for Stockton Park District. One is for ages four through eight and the other is nine through thirteen years of age. These two camps are designed to enrich children through the world of sound. This camp is a fun, edu-
cational experience that inspires the love of music. Lisa has also recently relocated to the area and has her own music studio in downtown Stockton, Animato Musical Arts Studio. We will also be enjoying Art classes taught by Kim Meier Bauer, ArtWorks Studio Artist and Stockton Middle School Art. Students will be painting on canvas with easel and painting ceramic pieces.
