Summer might be waning, but there’s plenty of outdoor fun to be had when the Stockton Chamber of Commerce hosts Fall Into Stockton on Saturday, Aug. 21. The festivities will start at 10 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m. on Main Street and on a section of Front Avenue in downtown Stockton. “This is a family-friendly event that has activities for all ages,” according to a chamber news release. “This annual event brings local vendors and businesses together … and allows a fun, old-fashioned street festival atmosphere.” Live music will be featured throughout the day, with Mack Massingill from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., BanD Acoustic from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Ten Gallon Hat from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The festival also includes a car and tractor show and a bags tournament. Day-of registration for these events will be available outside of Stella’s Café & Catering, 100 N. Main St. Games, caricature drawings, a kiddie tractor pull and make-your-own treat stations will be available for children.
