Farm Stroll is a self-guided tour of McHenry County’s diversified family farms on Sunday, September 29, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no beginning or end of the tour: just choose the farms you wish to visit and go during the stroll’s timeframe. Don’t bring pets, please. There is no charge for Farm Stroll. However, bring some cash; individual farmers will be selling products and produce. Some farms will conduct tours and demonstrations. Follow the farmers’ instructions, respect the animals, and watch your children. Wash your hands after exposure to livestock. Huntley Fall Fest brings your favorite music to town Free admission, entertainment and fireworks Huntley is home to the 14th Annual Fall Fest held Sept. 20 to 22. Fall Fest is a three-day community celebration brought to you by the Huntley Fall Fest Committee, generous business sponsors, civic organizations, and hundreds of volunteers. The 2019 Huntley Fall Fest features three days of entertainment, a beer garden, food vendors, a full carnival midway, plenty of fall activities, and a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night. Although the members range in age from 1214, they’ve been together for 5 years and demonstrate their skills covering songs/groups most cover bands do not attempt to play due to their difficulty. They play classic hard rock to contemporary and alternative rock of today, including Ozzy, Rush, Hendrix, Guns n Roses, No Doubt, Police, Tom Petty, White Stripes, Nirvana, Metallica, Beatles, and Foo Fighters, with a few LiveWire originals in the mix. With numerous performances to packed audiences at large venues and festivals such as
