All Stars thank community Juda’s Jessica Crull and Danielle Dieckhoff would like to thank all those who supported them in their journey to the 2016 All Star Game. The Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (WFSCA) hosted the 2016 WFSCA All Star Games on Tuesday, June 14 at the Woodside Sports Complex in the Wisconsin Dells. Each year, the WFSCA nominates a select group of senior softball players from all divisions throughout the state who have earned All-Conference. The chosen senior All Stars were honored during the recognition banquet the night before the game. The following day, each team played two games within their division.
The All Star teams were selected from four divisions. Division 1 had six teams with 71 players, Division 2 had five teams with 59 players, Division 3 had 3 teams with 37 players and Division 4 had three teams with 37 players. The senior All-Stars were coached by a selected 17 coaches. Juda-Albany’s Bill Davis and Denise Doescher coached the “Black” Division 4 team. The “Black” team was made up of 12 players: Jessica Crull (catcher, third base) and Danielle Dieckhoff (left field, center field) from Juda/ Albany, Tatum Jackson (first base) from Black Hawk, Maddie Hawes (short stop) from Potosi, Taylor Scott (catcher, third base, short

stop) of Williams Bay, Amanda Meister (pitcher, short stop) from Riverdale, Madison Kuhl (pitcher) from Southwestern, Brooke Roberts (pitcher, second base, third base, right field) of Randolph, Ali Travis (first base, third base, left field, center field, right field, designated player) and Brook Knebel (short stop, left field, center field, right field, designated player) from Belmont, Bailee Rose (pitcher) from Highland and Whitney Winkers (pitcher, third base) from Fennimore. The “Black” team won
both of their games with scores of 9-2 and 8-0. These girls have played against each other for the last four years, and it was an honor for them to have ended their high school softball careers playing the game they love together as one team. The All-Stars were sponsored by their communities with the proceeds shared with Special Olympics Wisconsin. The Juda/Albany players were supported by Carter & Gruenwald Co.
